The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip with 1GB of RAM and 12 core ultra-low voltage nVidia GeForce GPU. And despite the capable hardware, Google managed to keep the price of the Nexus 7 impressively low. The slate will come in 8GB and 16GB flavors, which will retail for 9 and 9 respectively. The Google Nexus 7 comes with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity and Google Wallet preinstalled. Sadly, there isn't a 3G model available, but obviously keeping the price as low as possible was key here. That's also the reason there isn't a camera at the back, and only a 1.2MP front-facing snapper. However, it's capable of shooting 720p video, so it's not all bad. Measuring 198.5 x 120 x 10.5 mm the 7-incher weighs in at 340 grams which is respectful for its size. The Amazon Kindle Fire and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will be having a hard time indeed.

  6. Want to purchase an item on Amazon (video game, skateboard, clothes) but don't have the money to do so? On my channel there is a link to a site that rewards users (free signup) with points by watching advertisements, playing games, etc. Its not free, you EARN the points, but it can be earned very quickly. It took me three days (about 15-30 minutes a day) to earn enough to purchase a new mac computer. The link is on my channel to the right. Sign up is free. Check it out.

  12. There's no need to be rude just because I have a differing opinion.

At any rate, no iOS devices have removable batteries, so it's not really a competition between brands. I'm going to be paying for internet anyway, and I don't need a cell or landline through my VOIP set-up. For me, wifi in my house is all I need. I still have other products, it's not as if I'm throwing everything else out to grab up this tablet.

Different things work for different people, in different situations.

  13. It's mainly for using Google Hangouts. I have a Kindle Fire, but last night I ordered one of these.. it's rediculously more powerful ^_^

  14. Yeah, that way when the cell is dead you bin the tablet and are forced to buy their new version.. Awesome product.

So rather than having a smartphone on contract for £30ish a month with unlimited internet that includes your calls/texts/tethering you want to pay for a tablet, land line and then for internet on top?

I'm guessing that personally you don't give a fuck what I think... but you'll still reply with another pointless and brief response.

  17. Seems pretty pointless to use the camera of a tablet when you have a phone which most likely has a better camera, not to mention how stupid it looks. Also, remeber the 200dollar price-tag.

  18. Soo.. I kept saying "I wish my Kindle Fire had a camera!" What's this? Nexus 7 Tablet, with a front-facing camera?? Nice!! Now time to be picky. Why no back camera?
