Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" Android tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 runs on a 1GHz dual core TI OMAP CP and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung TouchWiz. The Android tablet has a 10.1" 1280 x 800 PLS display, a 3 megapixel camera and a VGA video cam, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot. It sells for 9 for the 16GB model.
so instead of updating the 10.1 with ICS they just decided to release this the same thing but with ICS. silliness. I wish they'd update their damn older tablets. I have a Verizon Galaxy Tab 7.7 and its Honeycomb 3.2 I HATE HC soooo much but the 7.7 is just fantastic otherwise.
now im confuse... this tab or the nexus 7?... i just want something to use on web browsing, social media and playing music and watching vids and movies.
Great review. I've been using the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for about 6 weeks and noticed a few quirks that were easily corrected. The keyboard WAS a little cramped but the update to 4.0.4 was just released (over-the-air) & the keyboard layout is much better. Spaced out more like the iPad.
Another quirk was the speed of the UI. I switched to GO Launcher HD & WOW! What a difference! Not only do I have more usable screen real estate but the transition speed from screen to screen is smoother and faster.
I love the nexus, I too have been waiting for google to come up with their own tablet. but I want a Sd lot because I don't feel completely sure about the cloud.
