This was suppose to compete with the iPad 2. I'm sure Samsung will eventually release another tablet which will be equally better than the iPad 3.
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for the WiFi only version without paying a premium price. Awesome tablet!
ReplyDeleteBuys not steals. I'm sure Samsung aren't stupid, they have reasons for selling to Apple otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
ReplyDelete$700!!! Wow. Expensive. Was thinking between this or Nexus 7 $249. Hmmmm???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. Its convinced me to get one.
ReplyDeletewhy is that??
ReplyDeleteMy dad has one it was my second choice u shuld try the blackberry playbook its awesome
ReplyDeleteyes
ReplyDeleteHave they released a wi fi version of the galaxy tab 7.7 yet?
ReplyDeleteThe new update for android 4.0 will reportedly come in July! Go to egadgetify.weebly.com to find out more!
ReplyDeleteI am interested in it because of it's size. I wanted bigger than my HTC mob. but smaller than the ipad. I just want to be able to check my mail, do banking and check out a few sites with a decent sized but compact screen, that will easily fit in my bag. I have seen so much of the ipad it is nice seeing something different. I have always thought Samsung was a good brand and good competition for the apple ipad :))
ReplyDelete@Minipcpro, I can't agree with you more on the darn location of the power button... which I have discovered as a bluddy nuisance since I first bought my Galaxy S2 and thereafter, faced the same aggro on the Galaxy S Mp4 WiFi 5,0 unit...aaaarghhh!!! With large palms like mine, they must have miniscule thumbs & fingers in Korea I must say... :((( But thanks alot for the review coz I'm in no hurry for a tablet so will wait for the R&D to improve common sense designing on locating the buttons soon.
ReplyDeleteIve had one of these for a while, tis a sexy thing and handles all my mobile computing needs
ReplyDeleteSuper Amoled plus HD?!!!! How come
ReplyDeleteunfortunately NO!
ReplyDeletethat would be the samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0.
ReplyDeletethe LTE version from verizon in the U.S. i guess cant call or text but the international model which is the tab 7.7 3G P6800 is capable of texting and calling.
ReplyDeletenormal usb inport? dont understand that one... and if the ICS update will be available which i highly doubt would be available anytime soon, you just need to download it in the tablet more like an over the air update.
ReplyDeleteAll apple does is stealing ideas from others.
ReplyDeletedoes this tablet have a normal USB inport? and if they uppgrade to ICS will i have to buy a new 7.7 tablet or is it just to download?
ReplyDeleteOhh.LG and Samsung
ReplyDeleteDoes it have phone functionality? Some says it doesn't but some also says that it has. I really want to know because I want a tablet who can serve as a phone at the same time...
ReplyDeleteActually Apple stole most of it's idea from LG. All all of Apple's product is based on the LG Prada that came out in 2006.
ReplyDeletedon't even try he's an apple fanboy just look at his page only crapple video's and comments on every other tablet video saying his crapple is better
