Damn! It's butter smooth.
ReplyDeleteWindows 7 is the last MS OS I'll ever use. Linux is the future.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to travel with my console and enjoy playing video games in another place where there is no computer or any kind of technology besides cellphones. Maybe I'll upgrade my PC in the future after I work really hard at a restaurant and save money for MS, that's because I couldn't find an easy job online.
ReplyDeleteAll desktop games can be played on touchscreen. But the problem is, the touch can be a problem as compared to mouse. Imagine playing a FPS with touch screen, its gonna be awkward. Many games work well with touch screen like Diablo 3, Age of Empires, Starcraft 2. There are already many touch screen games released (Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja etc.).
ReplyDeletei saw another vid of tablet series (the uploader wrote its from microsoft directly) that has a rubber like keyboard in several colors it looks awesome.. theres a reason u need more than 1 video editor windows live movie for simple things sony vegas i cant use i need a gui it has to many shortcuts i perfer adobe premiere its easier for me but when im doing something quick WINDOWS LIVE movie maker is bomb. its the best at converting LARGE files like fraps footage or my home vidz into hd >:)
ReplyDeleteYes. check this out ---> watch?v=ukn3wp3Dr-Q
ReplyDeleteDude keep one thing on mind ---> "Only and only PC can run games maxed out" There is no other device in the planet that is as powerful as the PC. Btw, WHY DID YOU BUY A XBOX? If you spend a little upgrading your PC (like adding more RAM, good graphics card, good cpu etc.) you can easily make a PC that runs everything maxed. Consoles are just........consoles, nothing else. PCs are the real kings. 8)
ReplyDeleteIt will come with basic programs like word, powerpoint etc. Of course you can download them for free on your tablet if you wish. Who uses movie maker when you can run Sony Vegas on it lol. Anyway for heavy duty stuff this tablet can manage it but not as perfectly as a PC, but still, the tablet is good enough for you.
ReplyDeleteIf you want those things in a portable tablet then I think the Surface Pro is the right thing for you. But keep in mind gaming will be limited due to hardware limitations. Other things like keyboard dock, wireless mouse and stylus (<--my favorite) is all included in the Surface Pro. Why dont you watch the Surface keynote on youtube it shows everything you want in a tablet.
ReplyDeleteOH WHY GOD WHY!! ITS MY FREAKING DREAM TO RUN THOSE GAMES ON MAX. I HAVE A PC AND IT DIDNT RUN THEM ON MAX SO I DECIDED TO BUY AN XBOX THEN I FIGURED OUT ITS COMPLETELY SHIT AND CANT RUN GAMES ON MAX AND EVEN MICROSOFT SURFACE WONT RUN THEM!! BUHHHHHHH
ReplyDelete(Character limit, continuing): If you can't play anything on touchscreen on an x86 tablet, then this is just a laptop with touchscreen. Not a tablet. I already play hardcore games on my desktop. And do heavy work on that. Legacy apps aren't also most likely compatible with touchscreen (Please confirm with information). I rather do my work on an Android/iOS by adapting my habits, like using Google Docs instead MS Office. With Android/iOS tablets' much better multimedia capabilities, it's a win.
ReplyDeleteCan (hardcore) desktop games be played on touchscreen? What happens if you try? Do they need to be adapted into touchscreen? Will they be adapted at all?: How is the developers' view on this?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't this mean x86 tablets are only laptops with touchscreens? To call it tablet, i should be able to do everything on touchscreen. You may ask can you play x86 games on Android/iOS with even keyboard? No, you're right, but who would develop touchscreen games for x86 Metro?
hopefully it will come with good stock programs or stock programs u can download for free like windows live movie maker although i hate the newer versions theres times where it's simplicity out does the heavy duty stuff... cuz advanced video editors make simple things hard so i stick to them for projects requiring more work and use wlmm for the simple things in life lol
ReplyDeletesorry i was on android auto correct really makes a mess of things its laggy it displays the right text then sometimes it will post something else or switch back to another suggestion after i select the text i want. i meant adobe Premiere i need a good tablet that can run x32 and x64 with plenty of ram gaming is cool as long as i can take it where i go im happy... i want one thats like a laptop with a keyboard dock that folds as a protective screen and wireless mouse and stylus for drawing hehe..
ReplyDeleteNot on maximum graphics, but you can run them properly.
ReplyDeleteWhat about people like me who don't care about stock market, some live tweeter feed, a bunch of background metro ui crap taking memory up...what about the real good stuff like editing videos, making music... Come on you know what I want Microsoft...I hope video editors like Sony Vegas adobe audition etc will run flawlessly that's embassy I want not to tweet...that's what chrome is for lol silly Microsoft
ReplyDeleteSony Vegas, Adobe audition (?), will run on this tablet. Heck, even Crysis will run on this tablet lol
ReplyDeleteThis looks really good. I like apple but the only thing a ipad is good for is games.
ReplyDeletethe most failure part is: stupid background image
ReplyDeleteWindows 8 tablet fail! iPad wins! Like always!
ReplyDelete1.38 iTunes hehe
ReplyDeleteim sure he is a indian !
ReplyDeleteDear MS please bring back the start button for Windows 8, it wont kill you. People need options, if they want to use metro UI, great, but if I want to do things the more traditional way of windows I should be able to, dont take that away from the user.
ReplyDeleteCan you run Battlefield 3 or GTA IV on the maximum graphics on this device? :(
