  2. i picked this over the Nexus 7. the camera, phone functionality, slim design & super amoled display was the deal maker. gaming is still great with this device and ICS just started pushing out for this one. feels like a new device all over! :)

  5. Samsung, you would already have my money if only you ship the global sets with IR blasters. the form factor and amoled and IR blaster are the deciding factor.
    PLEASE add IR blaster back!!!

  17. Yeah, that's why HP is no longer selling tablets. But I agree with you that no Android powered tablet should be over $200.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 should have Windows 8. Would be nice if we were able to update this tab to win8.

  19. First of all don't call me stupid, second i don't have the money for any of this, third who said samsung has the ''BEST OS''?!?! We were talking about display quality as far as i can remember, so... your arguments are not in their place. And don't post TO ME the comments which are meant for a group of people.

  20. For the moment my HP Pavilion Kills every Android and IOS Tablet in the market.
And i bought it for 300$.
I don't believe you guys are so Stupid ( because you are Stupid there is no doubt about that) and you spend all these money to buy Tablets that feature Phone operation systems and they do just the BASICS.
There are great slim notebooks out there with Full OS that are capable of doing everything.

Your English doesn't quite make sense, but yes (no?), the pixels are in fact "turned off", as AMOLED is not a backlit technology. Each pixel is either off or in some state of being on. That's why black is black. No light emitted. So, I guess you're right (and agreeing with me and the rest of the thinking population), this is the best panel ever built. So far. Still stuff to be done when it's *not* turned off.
